Previously I was thinking on my what to bring on 1st 50KM and what to place at 50KM point aka CP5.
I know that i will be reaching at CP 5 before the sky turn dark, so i have the intention of not bringing any headlamp at the beginning.
But on recently i saw someone posted to HK100 organizer in weibo asking whether can he put headlamp at CP5 ? HK100 organizer just replied: Kindly follow the rules stated in website. *Sweat*
This imply that, at any point of time, a racer must have all the mandatory items listed below, be it at KM 1, or KM 99.
I'm wondering will HK100 provide charging point for iPhone at CP? haha...
Make sure your dearest runners have these with them during the Vibram HK100 race! It's not only an ultra endurance race, it's a eating race! A mobile phone A headlamp (with batteries) A spare light (with batteries) A whistle An emergency space blanket or equivalent Compression bandage Capacity to carry at least 1.5 litres of water (water bladder or water bottles) 2 energy bars / food portions A ziploc bag for your personal rubbish Race number Some cash /an "Octopus" card There will be random gear checks during the event and if you are missing any item you will incur a penalty which may range from a time penalty to disqualification, depending on the severity of the breach.
