Batu Caves - January 2012

Batu Caves - It's my latest training ground.
All these while, I never been to Batu Caves for steps, or rather climb steps as training.
The only and last time my visit to Batu Caves was back to 2009 during Hari Raya together with Cari Runners where we just finished our run @ FRIM.

Since then, i never visit to Batu Caves temple. Since signing up of HK100, I need steps training, Batu Caves become a very good training ground for me.

The video below was taken early Jan on Monday where i was at Batu Caves at 5:30am on Monday.




Running on barefoot, i tried in Vibram FiveFinger. How about "rea; barefoot" ? Yes, I'm tried also on the stairs training!

Batu Caves temples are ready for the annual Thaipusam festival where millions of followers will visit and climb up 272 steps...

Gotta hit the highest mileages  until 1 week before race for tapering down...

The fourth part is starting from CP5 and my numbering also will re-start from 0KM. Please take note, CP 5 is about 50KM point... plus d KM show... 

From my experience on TMBT 100KM, which i'm still not yet blog about it... 

after 50KM of trail running, its took me about 9-10 hours. At 50KM mark, i was changing my socks, having my most wonderful meal and drinks... 

Soon ventured into 50km plus plus.... the sky is quickly turn dark... 

I may or may not able to enjoy whole views after 50km... 

Just pray that I'm about to enjoy most of the views below in HK100 !

For me, my estimated time to arrive will be taking about 8-10 hours. The day is getting dark soon! 

So, I'm able to enjoy the views in Part I, II and today III. 

While coming Part IV onward, i might not be able to enjoy it when the sky is dark....
